Garden Dreams
So many signs upon my eyes have struck a chord
the player a pawn within the confines of the board
In the final scene the messiah always dies
When the man of the mount has fallen the memory cries
How many tears have fallen?
How many rings been promised?
The signs are all upon us.
It's not the stars that fade.
It's the song sung in the garden
about dreams to have it made.
It must always be the one, the one we can't afford
Could it be so under command of the Lord?
There must be voices calling out against the lies
There must always be a devotee who will never compromise
How many tears have fallen?
How many rings been promised?
The signs are all upon us.
It's not the stars that fade.
It's the song sung in the garden
about dreams to have it made.
A bureaucracy of evil beings who trade in human flesh
Undignified beasts who do their best
to get above, between, and prevent
the sacred bond of two that leads to heaven
How many tears have fallen?
How many rings been promised?
The signs are all upon us.
It's not the stars that fade.
It's the song sung in the garden
about dreams to have it made.
In madness all the colors blend and borders mesh
The hands of time knew to time this test
So believe in the unseen and repent
while in this cruel zoo we have been kept in
How many tears have fallen?
How many rings been promised?
The signs are all upon us.
We should have let the Presence stay.
Please leave the door open in the garden
so that enmity will wither, decay.
