I should have written to you
at least 100 love poems by now
All of them your's
to ecstatically devour
I'll start now with #1...
Your presence has restored my power
Your arms and heart are an oasis
Welcoming a wounded warrior
Wounded, withered, and undone
How naturally it seems we've
                                          come together
You smoothed out all my feathers
I'm not sure if I have ever trusted
                                          someone more
You are the brilliance of my glowing sun
With our every embrace I want more
I want to know you thoroughly
I want to explore
every possibility of our magic
                                   and synthesis
I feel your love like thunder
I'm so blessed and need it bad
                                       to be your lover
We have only just begun
How much about me will you discover?
You've already seen that you
have summoned the Goddess forth
She lives to see divine lovers as one
and it feels so familiar
