For my dear Philip Melnick, Felipe, on the 8 year memorial of his passing:
I know it was your time to fly back to your home above the sky. I think of how you found peace, with tears of joy I cry. But I can’t help but feel like a huge part of me is gone. It is by God’s grace only that I’ve been able to go on. I know some day we’ll be reunited if it be God’s will. For now I’ll keep on listening to the wind for you when life gets very still. You will always be remembered for the incredible person you are. By now you should have come full circle and back into a star.
